Recents-by-default wins, no question - a blank palette makes people think. Keep it. The inline preview I would make subtle or on-hover only; for power users it is noise once they know the commands.
Agreed on recents. For the preview, consider showing it only after a short dwell so fast typists never see it but newcomers get the help. Best of both.
Right-aligned keybinding hints are great, just make sure they do not push the fuzzy-matched text around as results change. Reserve a fixed column for them.
